Hi, I’m Karien, a professional stylist working in Beverly Hills.

My business is beauty, but my heart is in promoting a healthy, creative spirit inside and out. What I’ve found is that a beautiful appearance and a healthy, creative spirit are often attained together in similar ways, and complement each other to perfection.

Let me tell you some of what I’ve learned and observed about styling, Beverly Hills, life in and out of the salon, and about keeping the creative spirit alive and well.

Well, this is my first comment. I would like to talk about today, as a hairstylist. My first client was someone who actually belonged to another stylist who is MIA. What a pleasure. He and his lady friend couldn’t have been nicer. I hope they find Brian, but, if they can’t yippeeeee.

I am learning lessons still about color clients. It’s a lesson everyday. I don’t care how long one has been in the business. I have not been an assertive styist with my clients. I have to teach my people to let me do what I know is best. With their wants and needs in mind. They always end up much happier then when they “have their hands in their hair”!

Well, that’s all I have time for now. I may be back in a few hours.
